Ink x B.a.s.e. art sale

As part of my role at Ink Magazine, I successfully planned and executed an art sale in collaboration with BASE (Black Art Student Empowerment). This project was a labor of love, driven by a shared passion for art and a commitment to amplifying Black artistic voices.

Throughout the process, I honed several skills, including event planning, organizational abilities, and teamwork. Collaborating with artists and fellow organizers required effective communication and negotiation to create an inclusive environment for all participants. I also gained experience in marketing and promotion, ensuring that the event reached a wide audience to maximize engagement and support for the artists.

The event was a resounding success, providing a vibrant platform for artists to display their creations. One of the most rewarding aspects was ensuring that all participating artists retained 100% of their profits, empowering them to benefit directly from their hard work. This initiative not only celebrated artistic expression but also opened doors to new opportunities for the artists involved. The collaborative effort left a lasting impact, reinforcing the importance of community support in the arts.
