Screaming into the void
Production assistant
BTS
Inspired by Sharna Osborne’s unconventional style of photography, Screaming Into the Void was a dynamic exploration of solitude, absurdism, and the strange joy of uninhibited play. Set against an empty backdrop, this shoot celebrated the pure freedom that emerges when there’s no audience—just a void, filled by the right person willing to embrace it.
As the production assistant on this shoot, I contributed to the creative flow on set and learned key skills in production logistics, setup, and artist support. My role allowed me to assist the photographer and stylist in ensuring that every element of the shoot ran smoothly, from managing props and coordinating shot sequences to overseeing equipment and lighting adjustments. Observing the detailed preparation and spontaneity required to capture moments of unfiltered expression also deepened my understanding of how to bring creative visions to life.
